        Don't Like Vegetables -
        Try This

You can't get healthy without vegetables.  Corns or peas are not
good veggies, you need to eat it raw.

What happens when you don't eat vegetables?   What to do?

        Fiber & Cholesterol
        Levels

Many individuals can significantly lower their cholesterol by eating lots of high fiber foods.

As a result, after talking with their doctor, they may be able to reduce their cholesterol medications or stop taking them altogether.

A study published in the New England Journal of Medicine found that blood sugar levels were reduced by 8.9 percent on a high fiber diet. It also lowered cholesterol and triglycerides.

Fiber comes from the cell walls of plants. Additionally, fiber and water work together to keep the bowels regular.

Below are lists of low-carb foods that are also high in fiber, along with the approximate number of grams of fiber they contain.

The fiber content shown is for a quantity of 1/2 cup.

        Low-Carb Fruits
        Blackberries, 4.9 grams
        Avocado, 3.8 grams
        Medium-sized Apple, 3.6 grams
        Raspberries, 2.6 grams
        Blueberries, 2.1 grams
        Cherries, 1.5 grams
        Strawberries, 1.4 grams

        Low-Carb Vegetables
        Brussels Sprouts, 3.1 grams
        Broccoli, 2.7 grams
Greens, cooked, 2-4 grams (beet greens, collards, kale, spinach, and turnip greens)
        Mushrooms, canned, 2.0 grams
Green Beans, 1.4 - 2 grams (broad beans, pole beans, and snap beans)
        Asparagus, 1.8 grams
        Okra, 1.6 grams
        Zucchini, 1.3 grams
        Yellow Summer Squash, 1.3 grams
        Cauliflower, 1.4 grams
        Onions, 1.3 grams
        Celery, 1.1 grams
        Peppers, 1.1 grams

Including more of the above foods in your diet will help in lowering cholesterol levels.

You should make changes to your diet to include more high fiber foods, and do it gradually. Just add a few grams at a time so that your digestive system can adjust.

It's best to adjust the amount of fiber in your diet over several weeks. This prevents problems with stomach-aches, bloating, gas, and diarrhea.

The message is, up the amount of fiber in your diet!

        Most Common Cause of
Fatigue that is Missed or Misdiagnosed by Doctors

        When you live in an
environment as toxic as ours, and eat food that is processed, take drugs
(medications), etc. etc.  It is easy to see why people have
        fatigued adrenals.

I've read on WebMD the following definition of adrenal exhaustion
"Adrenal fatigue is a term that's used by some to say that fatigue and other symptoms are caused by a poorly working adrenal gland in people who are under mental, emotional, or physical stress.
But it's not a proven medical condition. Your adrenal glands make hormones.

Not proved is probably because the condition has not reached disease
proportions which is what medical doctors address.  Most of their
tests do catch it until the body really is going downhill, just when it
is creating a condition where the body is in danger of death.

So what is adrenal fatigue or exhaustion.  He is an article by Dr.
        Mercola.

Warning: Fluoroquinolone Antibiotics May Cause Permanent Nerve Damage

US FDA recently issued a warning that fluoroquinolone antibiotics, taken by mouth or injection, carry a risk for permanent peripheral neuropathy; Cipro (ciprofloxacin) and Levaquin (levofloxacin) are examples

This is not the first warning issued for this class of antibiotics; in 2008 the FDA issued a black box warning about severe tendon damage and actual tendon ruptures

Two other recent studies found that fluoroquinolones increase your risk for acute liver toxicity (if you’re over age 66), and destabilize your blood sugar if you’re diabetic

Fluoroquinolones have also been associated with memory loss, psychosis, headaches, depression, anxiety, kidney failure, cardiovascular symptoms, nausea and vomiting, blindness and other health problems

Fluoroquinolones are antibiotics with an attached fluoride molecule, which gives them the ability to penetrate into sensitive tissues like your brain and central nervous system, where they can exert neurotoxic effects

        What can you do about
        nerve damage?

We always recommend you take the approach of building
health - and nerves are no different.

disease to generating health..." Hippocrates (AMA"The

        healthy nerves

        Vitamin C and Your Nerves

        Sorbitol
(a form of sugar) travels to certain parts of the body where it builds
up. These parts of the body are the lens of the eye where it forms a
white milky film called cataracts, and the sciatic nerve (the big nerve
that runs down your leg) where it can affect the nerves.

Evidence indicates that taking 2,000 mg a day of vitamin C may reduce
the production of sorbitol and help strip sorbitol out of the body.

The human body does not manufacture the vitamin C it needs. The only way
you can acquire the vitamin C you need is through your diet and/or
        supplementation.

Most of the vitamin C sold in the US is ascorbic acid by itself.

RHP Vitamin C is an ascorbic acid, in a citrus concentrate, that
contains proteins and bioflavonoids. This improves the absorption of the
vitamin C and is more bioavailable to your body.
